New Version of GDS Gas Detector Simulator Released

GDS Gas Detector Simulator is designed to drilling skills in using portable gas detectors for testing the atmosphere in enclosed spaces in compliance with Chapters V and VI of the STCW Code.

In Version 1.2 the new feature is released: the Dräger Accuro, a portable aspirator-type gas detector pump. With this device, trainees will be able to measure gas concentrations in the atmosphere, including H2S, CO2, mercaptan, and benzene. This addition will be functioning as implemented in earlier version Dräger X-am 5000 portable gas detector.

The simulator can be used as part of training courses for tanker crew members in accordance with Chapter V of the STCW Code.
